Some of our projects have been ordered directly by national governments, but ICET has also performed various assignments for the European Commission, the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cordaid and the World Bank. These included both small and largescale assignments in the field of disaster management and capacity building. Scope
To be able to offer a complete range of services, we have a strong team of national and international experts to our disposal. Depending on the specific project objectives, we compose a project team in close consultation with our client. Each individual team member has indepth knowledge and an academic background in a certain area of expertise, for example: disaster management, law, strategy, education, research, communication, project management and financial affairs. Internationally, improving Emergency Response Networks is increasingly recognized as an essential policy goal. Governments often search for international expertise and cooperation. ICET helps the identification of emergency response objectives and priorities by defining appropriate methods and procedures. In close cooperation with our client, we search for ways to meet such objectives nationally, regionally or cross-border. Planning has no purpose unless it is accompanied by suitable responder training. As the complexity of an incident increases, it becomes more and more important for rescue teams to operate within a clearly defined and straightforward procedural framework. ICET not only offers assistance in developing such procedures, but also offers custommade training. If you would like to know more about our service, please contact us for more information.
Within the scope of the programme, we have implemented many projects that included the following areas of expertise:
We consider it to be of central importance to provide clients with a clear description and outline of the actual assignment, including implementation, quality and investment costs. Complete transparency is upheld throughout this process.
